It is a popular means of transportation among the Amagami fans.
Its high maneuverability allows you to enjoy your trip without stress.
The bicycle rental service at the "Choshi Tourist Information" in Choshi Station is often be fully booked, so you should call them to make a reservation at least one day in advance. And please remember that rentals are not available on rainy days.
If you can't rent one there, go to "Isshindo Cycle" on the street in front of Choshi Station. You may be able to rent one there.

Local buses
Useful on rainy days
It covers almost all of Choshi City, so you can travel for the pilgrimage spots by local bus.
Although you have to be careful with the bus times, if you use it well, you can get around quite efficiently. It's especially useful on rainy days.
We also recommend it as an alternative means if you can't rent a bicycle.
Local trains (Choshi Electric Railway)
The best way to Tokawa & Inuboh
Choshi Electric Railway is a famous local train in Japan by its unique promotions.
You can enjoy the unique atmosphere of riding a local train.
It can't be used as a primary means of transportation because it doesn't cover the whole area of Choshi City. But it is good for traveling between Choshi Station and Tokawa Station/Inuboh Station.
You can also take a local bus (Tokawa Line) to go to Tokawa and Inuboh. But as there are few buses, we recommend you to use the Choshi Electric Railway.
Car
Fast, comfortable and waterproof
It is the best and has three advantages: fast, comfortable and out of the rain. If you are traveling in a group, this may be your best option.
Some locations don't have parking, so please check in advance.
